This is Tasco The Robot. He is another Junkbot that I have made from junk. I travel around to thrift stores and gather up all kinds of junk. I bring them home and when the creative juices start to flow I go to my junk bin and grab whatever tickles my fancy. I never know how it is going to end up. Sometimes I start with one idea and it ends up completely different than what I originally imagined.
Tasco is made from so many different parts I wouldn’t know where to begin. His body is made from a large cake decorating syringe. His head from a set of opera binoculars. His arms from an old garlic press. He has many other parts too numerous to mention!
Tasco is not a child’s toy. He is an art sculpture. He has no other purpose other than to bring a smile to your face when you look at him. He would look great sitting on your office desk or even on display in a man cave.
I got inspiration from the movie Short Circuit and it’s character robot “Johnny 5”.
He will certainly make an interesting conversation piece once put on display.
